Effective booster for zinc deficiency: ESS Zinc Complete

The trace element zinc is of central importance for many of the body's own processes: it is particularly important for growth and maintaining health of skin, hair and horn involved.
Healthy, strong long hair, shiny fur and stable hooves not only require external care, but also a variety of nutrients that the horse absorbs through its diet. Deficiencies can be prevented by feeding high-quality roughage and mineral feed - but many horses still show an insufficient supply of the vital trace element and need additional support. Triggers can be stressful situations such as intensive training, shedding, illnesses, stress or a general tendency to skin problems Eczema, mud and allergies be.

A zinc deficiency is detected, among other things, during a veterinary blood test, but can often be recognized by the horse owner from the usual symptoms: Signs of a zinc deficiency include brittle, poorly growing hoof horn, hair breakage and hair loss, thickened, dry and/or flaky skin and the susceptibility to skin diseases (fungus, mud, eczema, etc).

How does ESS Zinc Complete work?

Zinc is a essential trace element that the horse's body only absorbs through food and cannot produce itself. The body's ability to store zinc is very low and a deficiency can arise from a short-term undersupply.
ESS Zinc Complete is one of the highest-dose zinc products in horse feeding and provides the horse with first-class zinc chelate and vitamin C in the shortest possible time to compensate for deficiencies.

When does my horse need ESS Zinc Complete?

ESS Zinc Complete serves as an intensive treatment product for horses of all ages and performance classes.
Feeding can be carried out preventatively to support healthy coat change in spring and autumn in order to prevent a deficiency.
If acute deficiencies already exist, the high-dose powder can be used at any time to promote horn and hair synthesis, as well as general metabolic processes.

Applicable, among other things, to:

  • with general zinc deficiency
  • for dull, brittle fur
  • with severe hair loss
  • for dry, thickened skin
  • for brittle hoof horns
  • with inadequate horn growth
  • for skin fungus & allergies
  • for eczema & skin inflammation
  • with recurring malaise
  • to support coat change
  • to support severe stress
